Research & Innovation

Overview

Research and innovation fuel better healthcare for every Albertan. By bringing leading edge ideas into our health system, patients get earlier access to advanced treatments, clinicians translate discoveries into practice, and we continually raise the standard of care.

Our teams help clinicians, innovators, researchers, and partners navigate the path from a problem to idea to impact. We provide the expertise needed to turn evidence into action: rigorous evaluation, advanced analytics and machine intelligence, initiating clinical trials, and assessing new ways to deliver care.

Together, we’re building a health system where breakthrough ideas become real solutions—improving outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and ensuring that every Albertan benefits from continuous, measurable improvement in care.
