Acute Care Alberta has been testing a simple survey for patients discharged from certain Emergency Departments and Day Surgery Units (see below listed sites).
The survey – titled, Tell us how we did - is focused on better understanding how patients experience care in specific acute care environments, across Alberta.
Tell us how we did is administered online, via a link sent by text message from 1-866-665-1811.
All survey responses are anonymous. Survey participation will not affect any respondent’s ability to access care.
Patients who receive this text upon discharge can provide a simple rating of their care experience and expand (in writing) on the rating chosen.
This survey has been launched in phases:
Selected to reach a mix of urban, regional and rural patients, these sites represent both Alberta Health Services and Covenant operations.
Findings from Phase 1 will be used to determine next steps.
